Photography + videography
Photographers and filmmakers who already work as one crew.
When the stills team and the video team plan your wedding weekend together, every angle is decided before the baraat starts, not argued over during it.
The case for a single team
Most of the friction at a big South Asian wedding comes from two vendors meeting for the first time on the morning of the ceremony.
Picture the mandap at the moment the bride walks in. The photographer wants the center aisle. So does the videographer. If they work for different companies and have never discussed it, one gets the shot and the other gets the back of a head, and you find out which when the files arrive.
Our photographers and filmmakers have shot side by side for years. Before your wedding weekend begins, they have already agreed who stands where for the pheras, the nikkah or the Anand Karaj, and who covers the reactions in the front row. On the day, each one knows where the other will be and keeps out of their frame.
The benefit you notice later is color. Because the photos and the film are edited by the same studio and graded together, your album and your wedding film look like the same celebration. Hire two unrelated teams and it is common to get two very different palettes from one afternoon.
Who covers what
Photo and video are not assisting each other. They are two crews with separate jobs on the same schedule.
- 01
Two getting-ready suites
The bride and groom usually get ready in separate rooms, sometimes separate hotels. One coordinated team can split cleanly across both without a second set of phone calls and directions.
- 02
Baraat and milni
Whether the procession is a dhol in the hotel driveway or a horse in the parking lot, video follows the movement and the music while photography works the faces of the families waiting at the entrance.
- 03
The ceremony itself
Pheras, laavan, nikkah, the tying of the thali. These happen once. Positions are agreed with each other and with your officiant or venue coordinator well ahead, so nobody is improvising in front of your guests.
- 04
One portrait session
Both cameras work the same session from one set of directions. You are not asked to repeat family photos for the video team and lose half your cocktail hour doing it.
- 05
Toasts and the first dance
Video records the speeches with clean audio taken from the microphone. Photography covers the people listening, which is often the part couples treasure most.
- 06
Edited side by side
Stills and footage are finished in the same studio with one grade, so the gallery and the film read as a matched pair.
Coverage options
The right crew depends on how many events your weekend has and how many of them overlap. These are starting shapes, and every quote is built around your actual schedule.

- About ten hours on a single day
- One photographer and one videographer
- Edited photo gallery plus a wedding film
- One matched color grade
- Delivered digitally
Extended wedding day
- About fourteen hours, from getting ready to the last song
- Two photographers and two videographers
- Bride's and groom's sides covered at the same time
- Album, feature film and a documentary edit

Wedding weekend
- Mehndi, haldi or pithi, sangeet or garba, ceremony and reception

Travel and accommodation are itemized separately in your written quote.
We don't publish prices, because no two multi-day weddings are the same. Tell us your date, your city and how many events you are planning, and we will send an itemized quote with nothing to decode.
Twenty-five years in the room
What a combined booking changes
Rated 4.9 out of 5 across 187 Google reviews, and the comments on combined bookings tend to return to the same three points.
Guests barely noticed the cameras
Two crews jostling for position is the thing guests remember. One crew working to a shared plan mostly goes unseen.
The photos and the film belong together
Separate vendors never see each other's work before delivery, so they cannot match it. We grade both in the same room.

Questions
Before you ask.
We are in the US. How does planning actually work?
Planning runs over email and video calls, and we agree call times that suit your time zone. Consultation calls are arranged within our contact hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Eastern Time, or at another time we agree with you.
Is one team really better than hiring the best photographer and the best videographer separately?
A separately hired pair can work well if they have a long history together. The risk is two people who have never shared a job. Before booking, find out how often they have shot as a team. If they never have, your wedding becomes their trial run.
Is a combined booking less expensive?
It is more efficient for us to staff one booking than two, and our quote reflects that. Because a three-day wedding weekend and a single-day ceremony need very different crews, we quote from your schedule rather than a fixed list.
When should we reserve our date?
For a wedding in the US, six to twelve months is a sensible window. Our team travels to you, so flights and crew availability need planning, and popular weekends fill first.
Will a combined team mean a crowd of cameras?
Crew size follows the schedule, not a package. An intimate nikkah in one room needs a small team. A four-day weekend with parallel events needs more. We will tell you honestly which you have.
