Traditions
Your traditions, already understood.
Twenty-five years of filming these traditions has taught us they are not variations on one wedding. Each has its own central moment, its own rules about where a camera can go, and its own timing.
01Muslim weddings
A team that has filmed thousands of Muslim weddings, traveling to couples across the US. We plan around your family's customs and your mosque's rules.
02Sikh weddings
A crew that knows what is and is not appropriate in a gurdwara, traveling to Sikh couples across the US.
03Christian weddings
For Goan, Malayali, Pakistani Christian and other South Asian Christian families, from the vows at the altar to the last dance of the night.
04Hindu weddings
Haldi, mehndi, sangeet, baraat and the ceremony under the mandap, filmed by a team that has solved the fire's light many times over.
05Fusion weddings
A pheras ceremony on Saturday morning and vows under an arch that evening. One crew across both, and a film that gives each tradition equal weight.
06Bengali weddings
Holud, biye or nikkah, and the celebration that follows, covered with an eye for the relatives who give a Bengali wedding its character.
07Indian weddings
Gujarati, Punjabi, South Indian or a blend of all three. We fly in for the whole weekend, from the first mehndi cone to the last song at the reception.
08Tamil weddings
Your priest sets the time for the thali, often in the early morning. We plan our day from that minute, not from when the hall opens.
