This page explains what happens to your information when you send an inquiry through memoryfilming.com, and the choices you have. We have kept it short and in plain English.
Who we are
Memory Filming is a wedding photography and videography studio founded in 2000. Our team is based in the United Kingdom and travels to film weddings in the United States. We are responsible for the information described here, and you can reach us at info@memoryfilming.co.uk or +44 7446 580004.
What we collect and why
Our inquiry form asks for your name, email address, phone number, wedding date, city and state, number of event days, your venue if you have one, and anything else you choose to tell us. We use it only to check our availability, plan coverage and send you a quote. We do not use it for marketing lists.
If you book with us, we also keep your contract, payment records, and the photographs and films we create for you.
Because our team is in the UK, your inquiry is stored and handled outside the United States. We rely on our legitimate interest in answering your inquiry and, once you book, on our contract with you.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted after two years. Client business records are kept for seven years, as UK tax rules require.
We keep your photographs and films unless you ask us to delete them, because couples often come back years later for another copy. You can ask for deletion at any time.
Service providers
This website, its database and its image storage are hosted on Railway. Inquiry notifications are emailed to us through Resend, and our own email runs on Microsoft 365. These providers process data on our behalf and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes.
We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising, and we only pass your details to another vendor, such as your planner, if you ask us to.
Photos and films of you
We ask your permission before publishing any images or footage from your wedding on this site or on social media. Saying no is completely fine and changes nothing else about your booking.
If something we have published should come down, email us and we will remove it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@memoryfilming.co.uk and we will reply within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or your state attorney general's office in the US.
